Intentional Living. Creating experiences that inspire people to slow down, reconnect with themselves and find beauty in the lives they are building, through conversations, curated collections, and everyday rituals.
I’m gearing up for my first launch into the online world, and I’ve always felt Substack and Pinterest will be my main strategies, thx for the confirmation!
This blog was so helpful! I always forget about Pinterest! Such a great way to share blogs and ideas! Loved the hooks and photos you incorporated, very insightful!
I’ve only been using Pinterest for a few days, but I have to say, I really enjoy it for promoting my Substack posts. Hopefully, it will bring good results over time.
I used to use it regularly with my other website Cavapoo Journal. But since starting The Encouragement Express I don’t get on it that much. Saying that, it’s an excellent source for information and you can get traffic to your site.
Ana, the useful shift here is thinking about distribution according to the behavior of the platform instead of carrying the habits of one platform into another. Your emphasis on search intent, seasonal planning, visual entry points, and content that can continue working after publication gives creators a wider time horizon for how one piece of writing might travel. For a Substack writer, that raises a valuable question before publishing: which ideas deserve a second life in a format designed to help someone discover them weeks or months later? Grateful for the way you turned your own experimentation into a practical invitation to think beyond the day a post goes live.
Hi Ana, I’ll be honest and say that of all the platforms out there, I know Pinterest the least. I used it a few years ago for birthday party planning and then never used it again. I would love to learn about Pinterest and how I can connect it to my Substack for growth.
My Substack is mogralife.substack.com. We write on wellness, identity and soft living for midlife women who are gearing up for their second act.
I love the article! I really like the tip of you mentioning that it's great to post before the season. It's usually something we don't think about because we tend to prep during the season. Also, on a side note, I tried using Pinterest before, but I don't think I got anywhere. Maybe it was because I was putting in so much effort in creating aesthetically pleasing posts before AI was a thing.
I have been wanting to understand how to use Pinterest for business for a while. This sounds like a great opportunity.
Tell me more about your business.
Thanks for sharing

This is a clever concept Ana, essentially making the pics work to highlight your words. Thanks for sharing.
