Love those ideas! However, is there any way to grow on Substack with limited Notes? Some experts recommend posting three times a day... but who has time for it? I'd rather focus on high-quality essays than overwhelming myself and the audience with random notes here and there.
Hello! Thank you very much. I personally did an experiment, both with notes that were frequent and with those that I posted even once a day. Honestly, I had situations in the beginning when I had more new subscribers from essays than from my notes at the time. I'm not sure if this with Notes three times a day actually works successfully for everyone, because I've also seen people who post only 1 a day and are still successful, as well as those who literally flood their own feed with 3-5 notes a day and have no engagement. In my opinion, a lot depends on the niche and the audience that you have already built. For me, the priority is that my articles are read and that I have maximum engagement there.
I have a question about notes and wonder if anyone can give me any insight?? I am a very new writer to substack (1 post thus far) and had planned on using notes to more or less replace my Instagram feed (I'm an artist)... but it seems my notes are not showing up under my notes tab, and I can't seem to get them to do so. The only way they show up is under my profile "history". I was so discouraged about this that I basically gave up on the idea of notes, and consequently, am not nearly so enthusiastic as I was about posting here at all 🥺 Am I doing something wrong and that's why my notes aren't under my notes tab? I AM posting them as notes. I put in a "ticket" twice to the "help desk" weeks ago and ... crickets 😕
This is such a spot-on breakdown, and honestly it mirrors what I try to do here treat each subscriber as a person, not a number. I just hit 500, and every single one of those 500 is someone I see, someone I’m grateful for. Seeing your tips laid out like this reminds me why connecting with people matters more than chasing impressions. Really appreciate you putting this into words.✨
Thank you! That was really informative!
Thank you for your support!❤️
Thanks foe the piece
Thank you for reading it!❤️

With the right strategy they are a pleasure! :D
SJP is really everywhere 😆 I guess Carry Bradshow is yet a role model for our generation, who grew up on Sex and the City.
Hahahaha, we all grew up with Carrie Bradshaw, who loves to talk about sex and isn't shy about asking! She's a role model!
Isn’t shy about asking!!!!!!! That’s the line! 😁😁😁
